My name is Isabella and I wasn’t always this bouncing, happy-go-lucky girl.
I was discovered by Redemption Dogs on an outreach day, after my sister Dora had been tragically killed by a car. I was mangy and thin, but that wasn’t the biggest concern… I was very ill and the vets struggled to determine exactly what was wrong with me.
Despite all tests coming up clear, I was put on a course of medication. A decision by an incredible vet which would ultimately save my life.
You see, a few days later my eyes went pale and suddenly I was blind! I was rushed to the clinic where thankfully an injection and daily eyedrops restored my eyesight.
Slowly I recovered, against all the odds, until finally I was strong enough to be sterilised and now, to find my very own home!
I only hope it’s not too late. I know that at almost a year old I am no longer an adorable little puppy, but I have the love of a thousand litters to give the right person. The person who will see me, love me, and be patient and kind as I learn and live along the journey of making up for my lost puppyhood.
Please will that person be you?
With all my heart and hope,
Isabella
